Unique, 1889 vintage 2 story stone house in Salida, Colorado has been totally restored and modernized, but the quaint cozy charm remains. House is comfortably furnished for a large family or groups up to 9 or 10. Three full-sized bedrooms plus a large and comfortable sleeping loft along with 2 full bathrooms, 2 family rooms, commercial scale kitchen, back yard decks with gazebo and hammock and the historic charm of Salida make this a memorable retreat destination. Salida is a rare jewel in the Colorado Rockies. The diversity of year round world class outdoor recreation is impressive. Summer provides the best white water rafting or kayaking in America. In winter, Monarch Ski area is outstanding with exceptional snow fall, short lift lines and reasonable lift ticket prices along with a diversity of terrain.
