Moor your boat in Coecle's Harbor and walk 'home'! Yes! Walk home after the day on the water or at one of our glorious destination beaches. Turn on the grill set to the side of your dining-for-a-dozen deck, check your e-mail via the wireless connection offered, catch the end of a golf game on cable TV. The ice is in the brand new refrigerator. All appliances are new and smart-looking. Walk across glass-smooth New England flooring to the comfy living area, the banquette-style dining for six table, either of the two bedrooms (one outfitted with queen-sized bed and the other with twins/trundle), the washer/dryer or the stylish bath all white on white. Take a night or two to experience one of our many famous restaurants. We are a well-known real estate agency representing the very busy owners of this sunny, secluded, uncluttered, freshly painted and appointed cottage, approached through a gate of privet and surrounded by a lawn which will accommodate a lacrosse game.

Location's amenities: A 2 to 2 1/2 hour drive from Manhattan, Shelter Island is protected from the hectic mainland life by its ferry boat access-only, by car. Our shoreline contains many public beaches, where parking is by permit only. Permits are available at Shelter Island Town Hall, where shell-fishing permits are also available. Rental boats are available at Port of Egypt in Southold. Dock and mooring space is by reservation at Coecle's Harbor Marina. A public 18 hole golf course is located within easy distance of this rental home, as is a wonderful nature area for various distance walks. Numerous restaurants offer a variety of specialties. The diligent large police force is widely known for its intolerance of drunk driving. This asset plus year-rounders' hard work makes the island safe while friendly. There is a swimming pool one may join for short terms. There are public tennis courts for use by the hour and for a small fee.
