Williamstown holiday cottage

We spent a great short week in the cottage and found it comfortable, well equipped ,well maintained and peaceful. The owners went out of their way to meet our dates and make sure we had everything. We appreciated the 'welcome'coffee, biscuits and wine. We were unlucky with the weather and so spent slightly more time inside in the evening (watching the weather channel ) than out in the back garden with the BBQ.

We found the cottage a great summer base for days out to State parks in the Green Mountains, Mt Greylock , the Mohawk Trail , the MAS MoCA as well as enjoying the Clark ,the local history museum and other amenities of Williamstown (e.g. public library free computers if you are like us , a couple from the UK travelling without computers).
It was great to be able to walk to local shops (Spring Street - coffee shops, deli, newsroom , postoffice, grocers , great Thai/japanese restaurant, bar,cinema).

We travel a lot for work and have rented many homes. This cottage was the most loved, most convenient and easiest to navigate ever. We will definitely be renting it again.

Everything you needed was there and everything worked: dishwasher, gas grill (with full gas tank), washer and dryer (with soap), coffee maker (with coffee), dvd player and internet. There were enough sheets and towels. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows and blankets. I really can't explain how easy it was to arrive and be at home.

The owners have decorated the home in a tasteful and non intrusive way. It's peaceful. There is everything you need, but it's not crowded with any sort of personal belongings. There are hangers in the closets and extra garbage bags under the sink. There are plenty of places to sit, there is an outdoor table with six chairs,

The location is convenient, in a residential neighborhood walking distance to the center of town and to the university as well. We brought our bikes, so that made the campus 20 minute walk that much easier.

Williamstown is a fabulous week away.

We were 100% satisfied with Maureen and Peter's cottage.
It is easy to see and feel upon arrival the care and love they put into making this a true home.
The cottage was very clean when we arrived, with all the necessary items, and many others to pamper us.
We came with our two children, aged 10 and 12, and fell in love with Williamstown. There is really a lot to do and see here and closeby.
The beds in the cottage are very comfortable; the TV is great; internet works well; actually, all was in perfect working order. In addition, every room is carefully decorated in a simple but delightful manner.
We decided to rent about 24h before we arrived, and the owners went out of their way to accommodate our selected dates.
I would definitely recommend this property for rental; we think it was worth every penny we spent in renting it.
