Excellent location, clean and comfortable condo

We stayed in the condo last month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was absolutely perfect being within a short walk of the pier, but still outside of the traffic and tourism providing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We brought a car and parking was free, but if you don't have one it's nothing to worry about as there are tons of restaurants, bars and shops etc within walking distance. There is also a trolley that you can ride for $1 and travels between Clearwater and St Petersburg.
The condo itself is very clean, well kept and luxurious with granite counters, extremely comfortable furniture, high speed internet, and premium DVR cable tv. When we couldn't be outside we were just as happy to stay inside.
The Olympic size pool is fantastic. It overlooks the ocean giving you a fantastic view. There are plenty of lunge chairs surrounding it and the heated water is perfect. There are signs posted that state the pool is for owners, but we used it every day and were not bothered by anyone. There were a lot of other renters around who were very friendly and interesting to talk to so we enjoyed it.
The restaurants are to die for. If you like seafood or even if you don't, this is the place for you. The food is fresh and well prepared. As many people we enjoy Frenchy's. They have a top notch atmosphere and staff that make your experience wonderful and why they are one of the most traveled restaurants. The shops are adorable and work perfect with Clearwater Beach. It's a cute little beach town giving so much charm to it's tourists. We are from FL and have been to just about every beach here and like Clearwater the best. It was rated one of the top 10 Beaches in the US for good reason. "The Pier" or Pier 60 is one of the things Clearwater is known for. Every night there is a small festival of sorts with craft vendors, food for the family and kids games. It's the perfect place for a family to spend time together as there is something for everyone.
Last, but not least the customer service for the condo was awesome. The owners are kind, courteous and provide accurate pictures and information on their website, which isn't always common for vacation rental by owner situations and is very important to keep in mind, plus the rates are very reasonable. Knowing that what you see is what you get is the most reassuring thing one can ask for. This was the best trip we have taken in a long time and we will definitely be back next year.
