Newer Cabin nestled in the pine trees and aspen, surrounded by deer. Yes the deer have taken up residency here at this cabin. If you feel like someone is watching you - it's true - the deer! Located at the end of a cul de sac. Great views of the western mountain range. But what is even better is, not only are you nice and secluded you are still within close distance of all the sight seeing, tourist attractions that Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and the Ute Pass have to offer - within 35 minutes. Or head to Cripple Creek, which is a 15 mile trip. After a day of hiking, sight seeing, white water rafting - relax under the stars in the hot tub. If the evening gets a little chilly just fire up the wood fireplace.

Relax in the hot tub and enjoy the quiet/stars: If you are after a nice quiet get-away this is the place. You cannot see any neighbors from this property - well the only neighbors that you will see are the resident deer - which are pretty much always around. On a clear night the stars are amazing here in Colorado. This cabin sits on over 2 acres, smothered in large pine trees and aspens. But you can still see the mountain view. Take run up to Cripple Creek and enjoy a little gaming and enjoy the many restaurants you can choose from. Woodland Park also offers some really wonderful restaurants.

Tourist attractions: This cabin is located in a fairly central area -making it quite easy to head towards Woodland Park/Colorado Springs for all that they have to offer - days and days and days of things to do and see. Or head to Canon City to the Royal Gorge and or do some of Colorado's best white water rafting. If golfing is your thing - head to Woodland Park and try out their public golf course- Shining Mountain

Fishing or Hunting anyone?: This cabin is within 1/2 an hour from some of the best fishing. 11 Mile Canyon for some fly fishing. 11 Mile or Spinney Mountain Reservoirs and the Platte river. Enjoy the beautiful drive through the National Forest to get there. So very much to do whether you are looking for outdoor adventure - or hitting all the tourist attractions - or simply state put for some mental health time!

Wonderful home, centrally located to Canyon City, Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek. Denver is about 1.5 hours away. Quiet, but not remote. Clean, very comfortable all amenties were accurate. Very peaceful enjoyed the remoteness, cell phone did not work nor did the Internet card, but had a phone for local calls. Would rent this home again, highly recomend it
