Fun, Rest and Relaxaion South of the Border

My friends from work and I had decided to re-live our school days and go south of the border for some FUN and R&R. When we heard about your house at Baja Del Mar we thought we would check it out for the weekend. Your directions got us to the entry gate less than 30 minutes after crossing the border! When we were thinking of a beach house rental in Rosarito, none of us were expecting much, but your house was nicer than we ever could have imagined.
The ocean view from the living room and patio were great. After looking around the house we noticed that we had all the comforts of home but we were in Mexico, in a beach house! It was unbelievable. We went into town Friday & Saturday nights and hit some of the old stomping grounds from the old days. They hadn't changed much but Rosarito has, it looked like we were still in San Diego with all the familiar stores and fast food places.
Saturday morning gave us a chance to check out the beach and walk around Baja Del Mar. It was a little cold to spend much time in the water but I hope to return soon (in summer) and take advantage of the body boarding in the sweet little break right out in front of your house. Walking around on the cobble streets around your house made it seem like we were in "old Mexico" especially when Reyes (one of my buds that was born in Mexico) noticed there were no overhead power or phone wires around anywhere. That was really cool, no overhead spaghetti wires like everywhere else in Rosarito. All in all I want to let you know that my friends and I had a great time at your house in Mexico and I know I will be e-mailing you soon about my next visit to your beach house.
