The studio is located in possibly the most fun and hip area in Manhattan, the East Village. On this particular block alone, between 11th and 12th street, there are 7 restaurants highly rated in the New York Times. At the same time the apartment is particularly quite because it faces the back of the building. You'll wake up to some really pretty and well kept gardens, and a beautiful willow tree in the distance. Tompkins Square Park is just one block away. The apartment is modern, charming and homey. The laundromat is literally across the street, you won't ever have to wait since it's probably the biggest laundromat in the whole City. The studio is close to public transportation, the bus M9 is one block away, on 14th street you can catch the L train cross town or the M14 A/D bus. The area is super safe, you can walk around here at any hour of the night. The neighborhood is alive, fun, yet quite and not chaotic like most parts of the Island.

You can walk to the Lower East Side, the Astor Place, Broadway. The neighborhood is famous for the great restaurants (Italian, Japanese, Korean, Tibetan, Thai, Moroccan, Israeli, Ukrainian, Polish, French, etc...) and the live music clubs.
