It is a short drive to Ocqueoc Falls, the only waterfalls in the Lower Peninsula, and other natural sites. Outdoorsman paradise! Snowmobile, ATV, hunt, boat, fish, kayak. 25 minutes to the historic Lake Huron Great Lakes harbor town of Alpena, home to the annual summer Brown Trout Festival, the new interactive National Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, and a marina with numerous Great Lakes charter boats for a day of trophy brown trout, salmon, or walleye fishing. Additional information about rental rates

  • Now Booking For Snowmobiling, Skiing, Romantic Getaway Trips!!!
  • 20% of the base rental as a CONFIRMATION deposit, plus $400 SECURITY deposit required by check within 3 business days to convert a reservation from tentative to confirmed. 80% base rental balance plus full 6% tax required 6 weeks prior to arrival. Refund of all monies EXCEPT the 20% CONFIRMATION deposit is given for cancellations up to 5 weeks prior to arrival. For cancellations after the 5 week deadline, an additional 5% of base is kept for each day after the cancellation occurs, up to 50% of base. Completed rentals will receive back the $400 SECURITY deposit within 10 days, subject to damages or need for excessive cleaning.

    CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES:

    WEEKLY--Saturday is the changeover day barring other arrangement--4pm check in, 10 am check out.
    WEEKENDS--Friday--4pm check in, Sunday--2pm check out.
    WEEKDAYS--(minimum 3 days)--4pm check in--2pm check out.
  • Prior to beginning of stay, names of all overnight guests and description of all expected motor vehicles and watercraft must be supplied in writing by email or letter. In the week prior to beginning of stay, guests will be provided with directions, and any other information pertinent to their stay (access to keys, etc.)

This is THE premiere property on a premiere lake and it is a great memory making place for families and friends. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ATTENTION, PLEASE NOTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For some reason, the 3 main mapping sites (google, yahoo, mapquest) show the INCORRECT location for my property. The location is a little north and west of the location the mapping sites incorrectly show for Long Beach Drive. My property is on the southeast portion of the main part of Long Lake. If you contact me, I can guide you to bringing up a satellite photo of the location.

Golf: 5 minutes to the Thunder Bay Golf Resort and free elk herd viewing.

Other Activities: ice fishing, great lakes fishing & diving charters, horse drawn elk viewing and gourmet dinner sleigh rides, snowmobiling.

Wonderful home!

This house was just as comfortable as my own home. Every corner was as clean as could be and we settled in immediately! The owners were so wonderful to work with and wanted to make sure we could experience everything the lake, home and area had to offer. The lake water was so clean! Loved every minute. The bedroom's were so comfortable and the mattress's were better than the ones I had at home. Would highly recommend this home especially for quiet and relaxation. Look forward to future stay's in the area.

Great Vacation!!

We spent a wonderful week in July enjoying the spectacular view from every window. Mike and Mary were so gracious and accommodating. Their home is super comfortable and the furnishings are top-notch. We used the boat every day for fishing and my daughter kayaked around the whole lake. We hated to leave.

Incredible vacation

This home was spectacular and the view of the lake is incredible along with all the things that are available to do for the family our vacation was one of the best ever. We had a wonderful time fishing the lake for bass, perch and bluegill and at night time while sitting around the cozy firepit we listened to the loons calling each other. Not far away 3 miles at most is the golf course where you can also view wild Elk and deer. Fishing and watersports in this area is also great it seems there were lakes everywhere we went with easy boat/jet ski access. We had a wonderful time and it was a pleasure dealing with the owners. This vacationa rental would also make for a great get away for the fall color change or even better yet a get away for the winter sports snowmobiling, cross country and downhill sking etc. I would defenitely recommend it to anyone I know.
