18th Century Farmhouse in 20 acre grounds of owner’s manor house. Huge Swimming pool 15 x 7m with underwater lighting and springboard. Terrace, Barbecue, Badminton, Boules, Table-tennis, Volley ball, spacious private gardens. Mountain bikes for hire. The Farmhouse has one double and two twin bedrooms, sleeps up to 8. Annexe for 3 in 17th century dovecote with wc (extra). Neighbouring cottage for up to 7also available (extra). Only 10 minute walk from market-town, restaurant, bakers, shops, tennis etc. Rural setting in particularly beautiful part of Perigord Vert, and very handy to shops. Uncrowded, unspoilt, peaceful and relaxing, yet with plenty to do and see within easy reach - prehistoric cave paintings, castles, Roman ruins, renaissance buildings, Romanesque churches, canoeing, horse-riding, lovely walks/bike rides with maps and way marks. Perfect self catering base for exploring and house-hunting.

The three bedrooms are spacious, and there is a simple kitchen and bathroom, second wc, terrace and huge park-like lawns. Central heating throughout, ideal for house hunting and holidays out of season. Terrace and large garden. 17th century dovecote annexe with 3 beds and wc available (extra). Just outside the main Dordogne tourist belt, Tabary is 33 km North East of Perigueux, the department's capital in beautiful Perigord Vert. Here you find little traffic and less hassle - ideal for a really relaxed holiday. And the castles along the Dordogne River are within easy reach, plus you are that much closer to the hills and forests of Correze and the stunning chateau and race course of Pompadour. Excideuil is packed with historic buildings including the fortress chateau, while Brantome, Bergerac, Sarlat and Perigueux are within easy reach. The restaurant bar is very popular and the town has doctors, dentist, chemists, bank and all usual shops including three good bakers. Thursday morning is market day when the town is colourful and busy and tempting you to buy those delicious goodies on display.
