We feel a special responsibility to anyone who has chosen to vacation in our Lauderdale-by-the-Sea home. We want every one of our guests to come away feeling the same magic that we felt ourselves when we first found our house. We want you to feel right at home.
With so many vacation homes making do with the barest of essentials, all that our home has to offer will come as a pleasant surprise. We pride ourselves in the service we provide for our guests, whether it's just recommending a great restaurant, or dealing with a maintenance issue in the least amount of time possible. Terrapin Cottage:
Terrapin Cottage has been named for the many turtle themed furnishings you'll find throughout the home. We're always on the lookout for similar pieces of local folk art that depict these beautiful animals. During the winter months South Florida is host to many craft and art fairs from Miami Beach in the south to Stuart in the north and innumerable places in between. If your visiting us during season, be sure to ask us about the local happenings.

Friendly and clean place to relax, Lauderdale-by-the-sea has everything a beach visitor could want, natural sandy beaches, soothing tropical breezes, spectacular sunrises, and quiet neighborhoods. These are just a few of the things that compel folks to return here year after year. However you spell it Lauderdale by the sea, add some dashes or a capital or two, it doesn't matter, everyone means the same thing, our cute, quiet and friendly town. It occupies just 2.5 miles or 4km of land along the Atlantic coast of Florida. Located within Broward county, but subject to the rules and regulations promulgated by the municipal government of Lauderdale-by-the-sea. It's right next door to Ft. Lauderdale, with it's famous beaches and exciting nightlife. Fort Lauderdale was once famous as the spring break capitol of the world, but over the last 20 years the town has remade it's image into an exciting place for responsible people to have a good time while enjoying great restaurants and attraction
