It is surrounded by a 60-hectare park and includes a pool. The recently renovated apartments have retained the uniqueness of their old Tuscan features. They are ideal for two people or for small families.

Not exactly romantic....

We spent 2 weeks at the villa in Poggiali this September. The accomodation was basic but clean, however, the villa as a whole could have benefited from external modernisation, new mattresses (we spent 2 weeks on what was little more than a creaky campbed) and improved internal decoration! Perhaps the biggest shock was that this villa plays host to approximately 15 appartments....not mentioned in the particulars posted on the site. This made it feel more like a hotel than the romantic holiday villa we had been led to expect!
The villa is great for people with children or pets but don't go here if you are hoping for a quiet, more luxurious holiday. You definitely need a car to get around. Would definitely not recommend this property to a friend.

Wir haben Anfang Oktober eine knappe Woche auf diesem Landgut verbracht und fanden es für unsere Zwecke gut und einfach eingerichtet. Besonders eignen tut es sich für einen günstigen Familienurlaub mit Kindern, die sich hier austoben können und auch tun - das heißt für Leute ohne Kinder, die hierfür kein Verständniß haben könnte dies ein Problem sein.
Für uns war das Landgut Ausgangspunkt zu Besichtigungstouren nach Lucca, Pisa, Florenz usw. was alles in erreichbarer Nähe liegt.
Einziger negativer Beigeschmack für uns war, daß die Bettwäsche nicht 100 prozentig sauber war - schade!
Im Übrigen - Land, Leute , Essen usw. gefallen uns in
Frankreich weitaus besser als hier - wer allerdings nur
auf Pizza und Pasta steht ist hier gut aufgehoben -
die Städte sind aber klasse!
