Ground floor:
The ground floor offers a large living/dining area with an adjacent light filled studio. In addition you will find a full size bedroom/bathroom with a large skylight and high quality linens. It has a two twins size beds that can be combined as a king, offering new bedding and linens for both configurations. All rooms including the kitchen and bathroom have stylish new ceramic floors installed. A extensive collection of contemporary art plays off against Mexican ceramics and decorative works. The large gourmet kitchen has been outfitted with fine porcelain, all new cookware, chefs knives, a Bosch dishwasher and in sink disposal. The built in Osmosis water treatment plant will provide cleaner and better tasting water than any bottled variety. It is triple filtered and 100% safe directly from the tap.
Second floor:
The second floor is configured as a complete studio apartment that runs the length of the house and gives access to a large walkout balcony with shaded seating for four, surrounded by flowers and plants. It also features a second kitchen and a walk-in closet. There are two large brick boveda ceilings overhead whose fascinating symmetry can be admired from the brand new Serta king size bed on which we provide pure cotton 500 thread count bedding. The room sports a desk with high speed internet connection; there are three Vonage phones throughout the house with free international service. There is a separate wireless network of local phones. In addition the room has a home theatre with a 50' plasma screen with satellite reception of many US stations. It has a high end surround sound audio system with separate speakers, REL subwoofer and amplifier.
Roof:
A second flat panel TV in the downstairs kitchen offers the same satellite reception and is controlled with a radio remote. You will find a movie library of more than 50 titles as well as a selection of classical music. Both floors feature gas fireplaces; the master bedroom unit can be controlled with a timer and provides HEPA air filtration. There are goose down quilts on all beds for colder nights. An outdoor staircase leads up to the roof, where we have built a shaded seating area (Tejado), flanked by a roof garden. This provides a wonderfully cool and breezy high vantage point, with a beautiful vista. The house is filled with light and its easy modernism combines seamlessly with traditional Mexican colonial art and architecture .
