Literally steps away from St.Peters Basilica in Rome, with large windows facing the Dome and the Vatican City, the floors are made of Italian marble. This is a bright, spacious and comfortable fully equipped apartment. It can accommodate up to 6 people. First bedroom with double bed and view over St.Peter. Second bedroom with two single beds which can be combined into a double bed, view over a nice characteristic inner yard. Spacious living room with large windows facing St.Peter, 1 sofa+1 very comfortable brand new queen size sofa-bed and a dining table for up to 8 people. A fully equipped kitchen with table for 4 people. Two fully equipped bathrooms, one with a shower, the other one with a bath tub.Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Microwave oven, Air Conditioning, Internet Wi-Fi High Speed. On a 3rd floor building with an elevator, is directly across from the Vatican walls. You have one of the most exquisite views one can experience visiting Rome. From the living room windows, you can see over the walls, and a bird's eye view of Piazza Risorgimento and the St. Peters Church Cupola. The 'Ottaviano' metro stop only steps away. You're in luck! Next door to the building, is the famous, best well-known homemade Italian Ice-Scream shop in all Rome called 'The Old Bridge' where locals gather all year round to enjoy its finger licking taste. *Distance: Walking 1 minute to Vatican Museum 4 minutes to St. Peter’s Cathedral 15 minutes to Piazza Del Popolo 15 minutes to Villa Borghese Park 17 minutes to Spanish Steps *Distance: Metro 3 minutes to Spanish Steps 5 minutes to Trevi Fountain 7 minutes to Termini Station 9 minutes to Colosseum 11 minutes to Roman Forum

Risorgimento Apartment

This apartment has a very good location and is very well maintained and clean! It is only 5 minutes away from St. Pietro, Vatican Museum and subway (metro, underground) station. The apartment is quiet and spacious as well.

The building is old, but very nice and quiet! There is an elevator in the building and a porter! The building itself is very clean as well. There is a nice view from all windows and sides of the apartment. The living room bears some of the traffic noise, but not much!

The utilities work well and bathrooms are clean and working properly; hot water runs well; washing machine works well; beds are comfortable; and finally, the apartment overall, is spacious! Perfect for a family of 5 or 6, like we were!

We enjoyed our stay here for 8 days in October 2009 and we will definitely use it again! We were all very satisfied with the Risorgimento apartment. Rome can be visited on foot and using the subway (metro) system, no need for bus tours, unless you plan a visit outside Rome. We found very good restaurants in the area, and the amazing Gelateria downstairs which is really, really good indeed!

One of my best travel accom in my european trip

The Risorgamento apartment was one of the best travel accommodations for my european trip. Within the span of three weeks, my boyfriend and I stayed in various hotels and apartments in Dublin, Paris, London, Calais, and Toulon. When we were able to stay a week in the apartment it almost felt like we were living in the heart of Rome with a spectacular view of Saint Peter's Basilica. Everything was close by, not to mention the wonderful gelato and crepe bar just below the apartment! Instead of eating out all the time we were able to eat in and enjoy our company together, making out stay in Rome all the more memorable. I would recommend this apartment to everyone who desires to visit and stay in Rome.

reat experience all the way around

We had a great experience all the way around. I would recommend using your accommodation to anyone. The apartment was very nice. It was spacious and worked well for our family. The couple who we were traveling with commented how the next time they come to Italy they are going to try to stay there.

The apartment was perfect for our family of six. We have four teenage children and the space worked great. The location is incredible. Easy access to everything. The furnishings and decorations were better than they appeared on the website. We liked the residential community nearby with all the little bars, restaurants, and markets. We have already suggested the apartment to several friends of ours who are considering a trip to Rome in the future. We will look to stay again when we return to Italy.

Our Amazing week in Rome

My family and I spent 8 days in Rome in this apartment.
First of all, the apartment is as advertised. It was very clean and spacious. The location of it, right across the street from the Vatican, was perfect for us. The Metro is just a short walk. The "Old Bridge Gelati Shop" is right next door (delicious) with eateries just around the corner.
There are several markets real close by.

We walked everywhere and several times just took the Metro to the Spanish Steps, Colosseum & termini and just walked back to the apartment trying to take in all of the sites.

Silvia, the lady in charge of the apartment, was extremely accommodating and gracious.

If we ever make it back to Rome we will definitely be calling Silvia.

If you are planning a stay in Rome and want to be around the Vatican area I highly recommend this apartment.
