Spacious open concept kitchen, dining & living room, with a huge cooking island. Designer furnishings throughout. Kitchen stocked with pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, plates, utensils & basic spices. Laundry room with new front loading washer and dryer is steps from the kitchen. Attached double car garage is for your exclusive use parking. Family room features comfortable seating, a large flat screen TV, a wood burning slate fireplace and French doors to the deck and large back yard ringed with mature trees and a large garden. Parkwood House is a warm & sunny bungalow located in South Calgary. We are on a quiet cul-de-sac, steps from Fish Creek's walking & bike paths. Parkwood House has just been re-done and has a lovely open plan featuring shining hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, with slate and porcelain tiles in the bathrooms. Parkwood House is 1500 SF all on one floor, featuring a large living room, dining room, family room, open kitchen, three bedrooms, & two bathrooms. Additionally, there is a West facing deck with gas BBQ, & an attached double garage. New front loading washer / dryer for your exclusive use are located just off the kitchen. Wireless internet is available, and telephone calls within Canada are free. Extra large yard is pie shaped -back yard 100 feet wide, ringed by mature trees and flowering bushes. We are located a mile from the Calgary C-Train Canyon Meadows station, which gives you inexpensive access to the whole city !

Our family of five adults and one baby stayed at the wonderful Parkwood house at the end of August 2009 for one week. The house was everything it promised and more. It is in a beautiful tree lined road in a lovely safe area. So quiet and reserved. The house seemed even bigger than the pictures and really clean, smart, and modern eco friendly designer furniture. We instantly loved it. The kitchen was a delight to be in with its granite work tops, an island and new appliances. We especially liked the big picture window that looked out to the picturesque garden. The washer and dryer were super hi tech. All the beds were comfortable and the towels soft and fluffy. The walk in shower was great with not one but two shower heads, one each end.The barbecue outside came in very handy and easy to use. The deck was very pleasant to sit out on in the delightful garden. No need to worry about parking as there is plenty of room on the drive for two cars easily and you also have a double garage. Our granddaughter had a great time in the house and garden as Christy had provided toys for her. There is lots to do in the area. Heritage park is just up the road and we really enjoyed it. The Calgary Tower and the town were fairly near and worth a visit. The owners were lovely and Christy even baked me some cakes for my special birthday which were yummy. Thank you Christy for being a great host and making our stay special in your wonderful home.

Parkwood House added to a wonderful family vacation. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children. The house was spotless! The neighbourhood was quiet with a very relaxed atmosphere. We appreciated the ammenities provided and that we were able to bbq and eat our meals at the house. Our host was very helpful and very accommodating from the time we booked our reservation for 8 days until the very day we left. Parkwood House is indeed a wonderful family retreat. We would definitely book again! Thank you Christy.

Great spot! Great people

We stayed at Parkwood House earlier this year and enjoyed it very much. The location is great for hiking or biking Fish Creek Park and I liked the shopping nearby.

The house is charming and comfortable and spotless.

Good hosts - very helpful.

The Perfect Getaway for the Family...!!

My wife and myself, plus our three teenage sons, stayed here earlier this year. We came to town for a four day weekend to take in a hockey game and catch up with local friends and family. The house suited us very well. We were able to put groceries into the kitchen and feed the family for a fraction of what it would have cost in restaurants. We even had a few people over and were able to barbecue for them. A great place - we'll definitely come back. Martin S Penticton BC. Canada

White Christmas in Calgary

My family stayed at Parkwood House last year for an early Christmas celebration with extended family. With three kids 5 and under, it was a perfect location for us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals , and the washer and dryer came in truly handy. The kids had a great time in the back yard, and especially at Park 96, the local community park that we had access to as guests - we were able to skate and sled there. We also visited a lot of the Calgary sights decked out for Christmas (we recommend Heritage Park and the Saskatoon Farm). Our hosts did everything they could to make the visit special. We hope to return soon. Scott H
