An outstanding brick townhouse (fully renovated in the Spring 2009) with the finest appointments; has the feel of a boutique hotel. This 2 bedroom house is the closest rental house to Hershey Park, located in the historic country Village of Union Deposit. Dine just across the street at the historic Union Canal House. The property has a very private backyard terrace area for family entertaining. The rear terrace area is bordered by a beautiful living bonsai cliff (not recommended for climbing) which has been a hit with local garden clubs and tours. Full gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, granite countertops. The bathrooms are super modern with sleek glass enclosed showers and granite tile floors. As per the travel theme decor of the rental, the house is full of outstanding world travel art, textiles and antique accent pieces. A park with swings & slide for kids is just a walk away as is the Swatara Creek/river which boasts great fishing, swimming and canoe/kayak.

  • This house was completely gutted and renovated during the Spring of 2009. The fitout was done in an upscale luxury manner with a World travel decor theme. Antique artwork, textiles and accent pieces fill the house. The beds, leather furniture, and interior appointments are all new were chosen with the pampered traveler in mind. The exterior flagstone terrace, living bonsai cliff garden and steam sauna area is also decorated in a similar manner and has an array of upscale outdoor furnishings for your pleasure and entertainment. You will not find a more fine or tastefully appointed house in the Hershey area for rent.

The master bedroom boasts a romantic handcrafted teakwood four poster canopy bed. A sleeper sofa is placed in the downstairs living room. The house has the feel of a modern boutique hotel or spa. A newly constructed steam sauna will be available in mid-June. Bedding accommodations to sleep six, bed floor mats available for 2 additional people. No smoking allowed.

There were six of us total and there was plenty of room. Kitchen was fantastic, with a beautiful stove and wonderful dishwasher. Lots of plates and pans - didn't have to bring a thing but food to make great dinners. The house was so clean. There were three bathrooms, all very clean. The entire house has been updated and is very relaxing to stay in. It is also very close to the Hershey Spa!

We would definitely come back here again. It is a lovely alternative to a cramped hotel room for Hershey Park. There is so much room for everyone to spread out, relax, and get a good night sleep in your own bedroom. It is a solid older home decorated in contemporary style with all the amenities of home and more.

This property was exactly how it was pictured on the web site and even better. The house was immaculate and all the amenities were there. You definitely need a car as there isn't anything in walking distance. We were there from Sunday to Tuesday and the restuarant across the street was never opened. Otherwise, great place and so close to Hershey!

Immaculate home sooo close to the park. The only way to travel with three small children when going to Hershey. The home is clean and so nicely updated. Easy to come home for lunch and dinner and still spend a lot of time at the park. This will be the only place we will stay when we visit Hershey.

This was a beautifully maintained home with tons of space! The owner really went the extra mile on all the amenities. Beautiful dishes, plenty of pots and pans, glasses, great work space in the kitchen with a FIVE burner stove! 3 gorgeous bathrooms! Plenty of room for my entire family. Everything was clean and just wonderful, and the tin of candies left for us was just an added touch to make us feel oh so welcome.

We loved it and WILL be back again next year!
