The Provencal Riviera villa:
The house is built on the slope of a hill. No road or traffic noise. From the villa: panoramic view on hills and lake located amidst nature. While is the lovely sunset, you may taste the gourmet Provencal gastronomy as « aöli », « tapenade», « soupe au pistou », « bouillabaisse », prepared and cooked for you by a local chef! All 3 bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning which makes sleeping very comfortable. You'll spend your holidays in a peaceful and sunny area, with an exceptional environment. The Provencal coast: the sun-drenched bays, golden beaches, beautiful footpaths - plus the internationally-famous wines of Provence. You'll stay with us!
What to do, to see and visit :
You'll love the pool (55m2) with its three stairs and varying depths. With the Jacuzzi-jet-stream system, you'll swim against the current as long as you want, or you'll prefer use it for massage. Relax under the nice shadows of eucalyptus, green oaks, cypress, mimosas. Many of the finest sand beaches are located about 10 minutes away from the villa, such as, Bregancon (French President residence house), Estagnol (with famous restaurant), Le Lavandou and also all the beaches of Giens peninsula, and Porquerolles and Port-Cros islands ( natural park). Old villages are nice to visit such as Bormes les mimosas, Hyeres, Ramatuelle, Saint Tropez. The Abbeys of Le Thoronet, La Chartreuse de la Verne also deserve a visit. Enjoy your vacation.
Winter time in Var:
The Var in winter means extra sunshine and quiet beaches, golden mimosa (smelling) and villages that really take their time to make your welcome, after the summer season. This is the ideal time to forget the time, meet the locals and enjoy our simpler country and seaside pleasures: walks among the almond blossom, hikes, traditional festivities and Provencal markets, or famous restaurants.
Golf:
The nearest golf course (18 holes) is situated amidst the nature of Valcros, few minutes away from the house. (Other nice golf courses -Beauvallon, Valgarde, St Endreol are half an hour drive away). Far from traffic, our golf course Valcros follows the bottom of the valley. It can be played all year round, in a nice atmosphere, with its club house and restaurant always opened. The best periods are autumn and spring: sunny periods, but not too hot, and tourists have left.
