Beautiful apartment in the heart of Barcelona. A few meters from the original wall of the city and a few minutes walk from the famous las Ramblas of Barcelona, the Monument of Christopher Columbus and the port. Located in a quiet building that promises a restful night but close to public transport that allows you to travel throughout the entire city. Building contains elevator, is 80 sq. m, has wooden floors, was renovated in Nov-08. 2 double rooms, 1 double bed, and 3 individual beds. Cradle available for stay. TV, DVD, cold Air conditioning / heat, washer, vacuum cleaner, iron. Kitchen totally equipped with microwave, freezer, toaster, coffee pot and all necessary furnishings to ensure a comfortable stay. Sheets and towels included. 3 night minimum stay.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Barcelona: Apartment in the heart of Barcelona. Ideal for visiting the city as well as touring the coast - close to beaches that are easy to get to. You can visit the most popular sights such as: Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña, La pedrera, Camp Nou football.....

To the north of Barcelona: Costa Brava Tossa de Mar: A ‘blue paradise’, a great place for a relaxing day out. A small white village backing onto a curved bay that ends in a headland protected by medieval walls and towers, Tossa is a truly pleasant stop on the road north along the Costa Brava. In summer, glass-bottomed boats will take you to some enchanting little coves and beaches to the south and north of the main beach, Platja Gran.

From Barcelona there are a number of day-trips which are worth the effort. Less than one hour away, towards the interior, is the spectacular rocky outcrop of MONSERRAT with its historic abbey. Huge vertical slabs of rock rising abruptly out of the surrounding plain, Monserrat is like a mini mountain range and offers some good routes for walkers and climbers. On the mountain, there is a sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat, “the Moreneta”, the patron of Catalonia. There are also numerous caves, and you can visit some of them. Getting to Montserrat is also part of the fun, with a cable car and funicular railway to choose from. Where to eat in Montserrat: There are three restaurants in the Monastery complex where you can recover after an excursion and enjoy good food and views. One is self-service, another offers traditional Catalan food while the third is more upmarket.

Wir hatten das Appartment mit unserer Familie für ein Wochenende gemietet, das Appartment ist nett eingerichtet, Klimaanlage ist auch vorhanden. Vor allem aber liegt es wirklich zentral (wenige Gehminuten von Metro und Kolumbusstatue sowie Ramblas) und trotzdem ruhig. Bäckerei und Supermarkt schräg gegenüber, sehr nette Begrüßung und Tipps durch Vermieterin - wirklich empfehlenswert!
