Hemlock Haven is a brand new cabin. It is nestled on our private 26 acres. The property surrounding our acreage is thousands of acres of wilderness. So you really are ''away from it all'. Access is very convenient since we are located less than 5 minutes from US Route 19 in Southern WV. We are also minutes away from numerous outdoor recreational adventures such as world class whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and much more. The cabin living area has 20 foot high ceilings and a stone gas fireplace. All appointments are tasteful and inviting. There are maple hardwood floors throughout the cabin. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen has everything for the cook including a crockpot, blender, mixer and all utensils. The laundry area in the cabin has a full size washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets provided. There are cards, games, and books as well.

Outside, we have 3/4 mile hiking trail to enjoy with your family or dog. We are dog friendly. There is a fenced in yard right outside the kitchen door. The yard has an outdoor fire pit with benches. There is even a dog septic system in the yard to clean up after your dog. Our outdoor hot tub is open to the sky so that snow can fall on your head or you can watch the stars. Our patio set on the deck has an amber glass table and chairs with cushions. We have endeavored to provide the best in comfort and hospitality.

Wonderful Week in WV

We stayed in the Green Goddess cabin and were very happy with the accomodations and location. The cabin was lovely, scrupulously clean, and had all the comforts of home. The location was very convenient and we were able to golf at one state park and then go hiking and rent paddle boats at another the next day. The grand finale of the trip was white water rafting. Everything we wanted was within an easy 30 min (or less) drive to include some great local restaurants - Pies and Pints and Dirty Ernie's Rib Pit were excellent. Direct TV and wireless, satellite internet was very convenient. This was a great cabin and our kids (10 and 6) had lots of room to play inside and out and we all enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out on the covered porch. Add to all that the beautiful mountains and to us this was a perfect vacation spot! I highly recommend this property. I wish I could visit in the fall when the leaves start to change - it would be magnificent.
