Authentic Hollywoodland bungalow with tremendous character and charm on a quiet side street in Beachwood Canyon, the heart of the historic Hollywoodland development. Built in the 1920’s, it is completely detached with approximately 1000 square feet: living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and full bath — original details and a private, grassy backyard. It’s fully furnished with all the modern conveniences. Fully equipped with digital and HD cable TV, high-speed wireless internet access and digital phone. Other amenities include a Bose iPod docking station, washer/dryer and a comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests. Walk to restaurants, breakfast cafés, shops, markets, metro station. Scenic walk to hiking trails and the landmark Hollywood sign. 2 metro stops to Universal Studios or the heart of Hollywood. Great place if you want to escape the business at the beach. You are right near the Hollywood Sign, and it will give you a nice, old school Hollywood-feeling. The cottage is a little dark, but very clean and there's plenty of space, and even a nice outside patio. If you are looking for a quiet spot to work or relax, away from the big chains, hotels but very much in Hollywood, this is your place.

Well equiped and well located cottage

This cottage was as beautiful as the photo's suggested. It was equiped with everything that we could have needed. It is located down a quite side street with great views of the Hollywood sign from the end of the road. We were able to walk from there to hollywood boulevard, although we used the car to get to Disneyland and the Studio's. The owner was friendly and really helpful and did everything he could to help sort out our stay. I would definitely reccomend the cottage for a relaxing place to stay in Hollywood.
