This amazing 2500 sq. ft. floor through designer loft has been featured in countless magazines and on TV channels such as the Food Network. As a penthouse it has incredible light from 19 windows. A fully equipped kitchen. Home theater, wood burning stove. Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. hardwood floors throughout. Keyed elevator access. Designed for four people, it can in a pinch sleep another two on extremely comfortable living room couches. Once outside everything is conveniently at hand-Great food shopping and restaurants, a pharmacy, green grocer and supermarket all within a hundred yards. The loft is within a block of a cross town bus and a constant flow of taxis coming up First Avenue. Jogging along the East River is a block away.

The Loft is at the heart of the Capital of the World for culture, art, fashion, music, finance. Some of the world's greatest museums are within walking distance. Not to speak of great restaurants and luxury shopping on Fifth Avenue or bargain shopping on the Lower East side. There is no ethnic food that can not be found within the confines of the city. The Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Ground Zero and the Circle Line bus and boat tours are on most visitors agendas. Great food shopping, a pharmacy, cleaners, and good restaurants within a hundred yards. Quiet residential neighborhood within a block of crosstown and First Avenue bus. Walk. bicycle or jog along the East River also a block away. Restaurants of all ethnicities are within short walking distance. Mexican, Southwest ( next door ) Italian, Belgian, Japanese, Thai. There is a kids playground two blocks away

Wonderful Loft in NY

First thing to say: the pictures on the website don't show the realty: it's more much beautiful and comfy.
We've been there last summer with our kids and it was a wonderful stay.
The location is perfect, near busses, pleinful of taxis, and very close by walk to everything.
Clodagh and Daniel gave us the opportunity to leave few days like real newyorkers. Their loft was very clean (the maid is coming 3 times on the week). Kitchen and bathrooms very update.
All the furnitures are real design ones. And for smokers there is a roof terrace with a wonderful view on Manhattan.
Around the property there is a lot of groceries and small places to eat ( we loved David's bagel and for the lox Ess a bagel).
For groceries, avoid the asiatic one just in the next building. The owner isn't pleasant at all!
For the morning coffee there is a Starbuck at 2 minutes by walk and a Dunkin Donuts in the building next door.
When we'll go back in NY we'll never go anywhere else!Thank you Daniel and Clodagh to share this wonderful place with us!

Perfect weekend in NYC

A small group of us met in NYC the weekend of Aug 6th-9th to attend the Yankee/Red Sox series and to enjoy some of the sights. We originally had planned to book hotel accomodations but found this loft last minute. Daniel, the owner, was courteous and very responsive to our needs. I was out of the country and Daniel made the rental transaction easy and worry free. The loft far exceeded our expectations and wowed all of us by how large it was for New York. If it werent for all the great things to do in NYC, we easily could have stayed in and enjoyed this wonderful property.the whole weekend. Everything you need is within walking distance and we were close to all of our reservations for lunch and dinner. We would like to come back again and would recommend this loft to anyone!
