Enjoy a nice fire on the beach in the fire pit, while gazing at the bountiful stars. During the sun-filled days, float along in the calm blue waters of the serene Gulf. Plenty of local fresh seafood to be had, including the world famous Indian Pass oyster house, less than a mile away. Visit the historical and charming town of Apalachicola for shopping or great seafood dishes. A five minute drive brings you to the world renowned beaches of Cape San Blas, where you can horseback ride along the beach or visit St Joseph Peninsula Park, voted top beach of 2002. A short distance away is St Vincent's Island, a wildlife refuge where you can picnic, bicycle ride or go shelling amongst this nature preserve. If you are looking for an uncrowded and truly relaxing beachfront vacation spot, this is the place for you, Almost Heaven.
