We might go swimming in the late afternoon, watch a beautiful sunset and walk to 5th Avenue for dinner at one of the wonderful restaurants in the area. On other days, when we feel like doing more it is always interesting to visit areas that show Southwest Florida’ s wilderness, such as the Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve, Big Cypress National Preserve, or Everglade City. A boardwalk stroll is interesting. Swamp buggy rides (shallow-draft airboat) , for instance out of Everglade City, are exciting.
