Nice but nothing special

Highs: inexpensive; new; clean; nicely decorated; close to many sightseeing places; very nice rooftop; supermarket on the corner; Chinese restaurant opposite side of the street; close to subway
Lows: far from any fancy restaurant; Internet worked very badly; the apartment owners called too often; some basic kitchen devices missing as e.g. coffee machine or wine glasses
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing
Owner's Response: Sorry about problems, I was on vacation those days and left a friend in charge...Murphy's law...she could not connect properly internet...forgot to replace wine glasses and cofee maker and was a little 'too helpful' About fancy restaurants..there are quite a few in city center,even 5 stars hotels,and one of the best
Santiago restaurants: 'OPERA' just in the corner, but normally people prefere others, the surroundings are full of nice italian,spanish,chinese, japanese,many modern cousine restaurants,etc , not very expensive.
May be forgot to ask?

Hello, I stayed about 5 weeks in this apartment, which I found well organized and very conveniently located close by shops, metro and restaurants. Also museums etc are close by.

With the supermarket downstairs I recommend this apartment

Great location, great landlady, great stay

We (a couple from Ireland) stayed in this apartment for two months, and can wholeheartedly recommend it. It is in the perfect location for visitors to Santiago - in the heart of downtown, 2 mins from a metro station, and from the main pedestrianised shopping area, and right beside a big new supermarket. It is also just steps away from the restaurants, cafes and bars of Mosqueto and Lastarria.

The building has a helpful 24hour concierge service and an absolutely amazing view from the pool or laundry rooms which are on the top floors.

The apartment itself is small, as are all Santiago apartments in the city centre, but so well appointed that it doesn't feel cramped - the space is used well. The decor is modern and elegant and the kitchen has everything you need.

Elena, the owner, is a great landlady, very helpful and responsive and delighted to help newcomers/visitors find their feet. I can honestly say we would not have had nearly such an enjoyable time in Santiago if it had not been for her.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
