Dear Traveler to San Antonio, Do you need a place to stay that is affordable, yet attractive and spacious? Would you like to be within a short drive of many area attractions? Do you travel with small children who need special amenities? If any of the above apply to you, we would like to have the privilege of hosting you on your next trip to San Antonio. Our home is a one-story, renovated ranch-style house located in a quiet, residential neighborhood on the north side of San Antonio. North Star Mall is two blocks away, the airport -5 minutes, the Alamo and Riverwalk area -15 minutes, and Fiesta Texas and Sea World - 25 minutes.

Our neighborhood is within easy access to the downtown area, the Riverwalk, and the Alamo. We are also about 20 min from Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Just a couple of blocks away are two upscale shopping malls and many restaurants. The airport is 5 minutes away. The San Antonio Zoo and the Botanical Gardens are 10 minutes away. Whole Foods Market is 5 minutes away. The best 'authentic' taco restaurant in the world is 2 minutes away.

Home Interior: We maintain an allergen free environment - no carpeting or drapes. The décor is an eclectic collection of antiques and flea market treasures. The living room bookcase has toys, books and a varied collection of family appropriate DVD's and CD's Our kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining room has an eleven foot table at which 12 people can sit comfortably. We will provide booster seats and high chairs if needed. The pantry is stocked with basic cooking ingredients and the refrigerator is stocked with bottled water, and sodas. The French doors from the dining room open to a large patio and fenced yard. Three large trees provide shade (very important in South Texas). Children can enjoy swings, tricycles, a basketball hoop, teatherball and other fun outdoor toys. Try out our Weber grill! All our beds have comfortable mattresses and we also have a sleeper sofa (ideally for children) and a queen air mattress. Each bedroom has themed decor - Western, 1950's, and Blue room.

Interesting Places to see in San Antonio: San Antonio has many interesting places to see. Our favorites are the Alamo and River Walk, and the Tower of the Americas with it's 4D 'Skies over Texas' ride and adjacent Water Gardens. San Antonio has a wonderful Zoo on the banks of the San Antonio River. Adjacent to the zoo is a miniature railroad which is 2 1/2 miles long and goes through a tunnel. If you like plants, don't miss seeing the Botanical Gardens with their soaring, futuristic glass enclosures. If you would like to visit the Zoo or Botanical Gardens, we will see that you enter for Free!

I threw a big birthday party at this wonderful spacious home and was very pleased! This home has a big open dinning area and fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. The children had a blast outside in the shady yard with all sorts of play equipment for kids. This home is cute and clean with comfortable bedrooms. I highly recommend it for any visitor to San Antonio. Its close to everything you will want to see!
Owner's Response: We're thrilled that the party went well. Thanks for the thorough clean up! We've had several birthdays, baby and wedding showers, graduation parties and even rehersal dinners here. We can even provide chairs and banquet tables on the back patio!
