Photos and Description of this Newburyport holiday house One Spectacular two story Bedroom with private deck. Two full baths.

The Joppa House is perched on stilts within the Merriack River. We abut Mass Audubon and enjoy a natural habitat for birds from lower and upper observation decks overlooking a salt pan. The architects home has panoramic views over marsh and river yet remains private from the easily accessed city of Newburyport and Beaches of plum Island. Kayaks can be launched from the site at high tide. The photos included show property at low tide.

My stay at the Joppa House was nothing short of amazing! The water can be seen from every room of the house and the views are spectacular! You are so close to nature that you truly feel a part of it, especially watching the birds in their natural feeding areas. The sunrises are so breathtaking from the bedroom window that you want to wake up early so you won't miss them. The Joppa house is beautifly decorated and everything you would ever need is provided for you by the owners who are the most friendly and accommodating people I have ever met. This is truly a "find" that I hope to get a chance to return to many times in the future.

We had an amazing time at Joppa House. If your looking for a relaxing time with wonderful views and full amenities then Joppa House is for you. Located in beautiful Newburyport, Ma. where there are great restaurants, shops & lots to see.
Perfect for a single or couple.
The most accommodating owners.
We highly recommend this fantastic property for your next vacation!!
