Beautifully restored 1850`s Farmhouse on 65 acres with magnificent mountain views & a private spring fed swimming pond. The land is great for cross country skiing, sledding and snow-shoeing and bird-watching. The house is nestled in the heart of the Catskill Mountains (just 7 minutes from the 2 major ski areas)- Hunter & Windham Ski Resorts. The house is approximately 2,000 square feet- with a large living/dining room, screened in porch, wood burning stove/fireplace and radiant heated floors in the living room & towel warmers in the bathrooms & high-speed wireless internet throughout the house. First Floor: Bedroom #1: Large room with queen bed (North/East Exposure) Bathroom with shower & washer/dryer, full kitchen w/ Microwave,espresso & coffee machines, dining room w/ south facing mountain views, living room with wood burning fireplace and radian heated floors & large screened in porch with a view of the pond(Full North, South, East West Exposures).

My husband and I just returned from 4 wonderful days here! There wasn't a single thing we didn't love about the home and the property!

We were able to spend a good part of our time walking around the property and sightseeing. The pond is one of my favorites things the property has to offer..It allowed us a wonderful place to swim (and one of our dogs enjoyed that, too) or a quiet place to sit and relax on the dock (which was great for watching the frogs and occasional salamanders to swim by). The grill and outdoor table were perfect for us to make and have dinner every night, while still enjoying the beauty of the property! Very quiet and extremely beautiful!

The farmhouse was perfect...plenty of space, complete with everything one may need, and very cozy and clean. We enjoyed ending each day on the sofa, reading a book, or playing a board game.

This house was also perfectly located...you are only about 10 minutes away from anything you may want to see or do! We were able to enjoy hikes along the Catskill trails, see amazing waterfalls, go antiquing, and so much more. Many restaurants and shops around, too!

I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to stay here during the winter months, as the house is situated between 3 ski resorts!

I would recommend this fabulous home to anyone looking to experience and appreciate the true beauty of the Catskills!

WOW! I happened to be visiting some friends in NY
from the west coast and wasn't expecting much when
they told me we were spending a weekend in the country. As I already live in beautiful Santa Barbara.

The owners have done an incredible job restoring this old farm house and it's impossible to tell what they touched and what was original. The radiant heated floors in the living room look like really old floors!

Boy was it cozy on a cold Spring night!
There is so much room to walk around on the property- including a lovely stream by one of the lower fields. It would be an amazing place to be in the winter for snow shoeing...or in the summer.
You could walk for hours without leaving the property! They have a fabulous hamlock forest that just smells amazing! The bird watching was unbelievable....so many blue birds and millions of others attracted to all the milk weed on the property.

The house is really comfortable and lovely. I noticed the owner didn't post any pictures of the kitchen so wanted to say the view
out of the kitchen window is absolutely stunning! I could cook all weekend in that kitchen staring out at the mountains! The pond is really clean and lovely as well. I felt like I was out west some place. Was hard to believe that I was only 2 1/2 hours from the city!
