The sea and the beaches:
Quercianella has nice little bays with pebbly beaches, where bathing and rambling are easy. Short flights of steps lead you without problems to the bays. The clear water invites you to sea-watching, not only professional divers can discover here the underwater world. The nearest bathing places are 200 m from the gate of Villaggio Azzurro 5 minutes by foot. In this southern area you can find a big bay where the shore is shared by a private bathing facility - of Italian style with sandy beach umbrellas and deck chairs – and a little free pebbly beach. If you don’t like pebbly beaches, you can reach sandy beaches in a few minutes by car or bus. In fact from about 8 km south of Villaggio Azzurro, all over the coast from Rosignano to Baratti over more than 80 Km there are wide and large sandy beaches. The sandy beaches are different: white fine sandy beaches are in Rosignano, Vada 10 to 15 minutes away by car, yellow thick beaches are in Cecina Bibbona Castagneto.
