The access to the property is very close to a primary Interstate Highway, but quiet and private when you arrive. There is deeded access to the George National Forest and many foot trails to hike on. There is stocked trout fishing in the immediate area. The ladies enjoy sightseeing, the Hot Springs resort shopping, and the Greenbrier resort in white sulfur springs W.Va. The Virginia Horse center is 30 minutes away, where there are many national horse and pony shows, as well as rodeos and plenty of Country Music events. You can return home to the cabin to play yard games or just set back in one of the 15 chairs (mostly rockers) or dine on the large screened porch or sunbath on our large deck with many deck chaise loungers.
In the month of October, the fall foliage is gorgeous and local towns have festivals to celebrate the event.
The dining room is retro with seating for up to 12 or more people.
