The Villa is near the Veteran’s Memorial (or Midpoint) Bridge to Fort Myers. Not only is Fort Myers the location of the spring training camp of the Boston Red Sox baseball team, it has beaches, restaurants, entertainment, and more. One of the more popular historical attractions is the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, which includes their homes, gardens, lab, and museum. Sanibel Island is approximately a half hour drive and Captiva Island and Naples are approximately an hour drive from Villa Makani.
