This Fabulous 2BR 2 Bath Lakefront Home is perfect for your family vacation or a weekend getaway. The upper level of the home features the kitchen of your dreams, a dining area with a large bay window & window seat, a living area with fireplace, a large screen television, a master bedroom & bath with a 2nd television & two sets of French Doors leading out onto the upper level deck. The lower level includes a cozy den/game room, with a game table, a dart board & a large screen television, a queen bedroom & bath with a 3rd television, a laundry room & two set of French Doors leading out onto the lower level deck. From the lower deck, take a few steps down to the boathouse which has a large dock for relaxing and sunbathing, and a smaller dock for fishing. Rock steps lead into & out of the water for easy swimming access & a canoe for your enjoyment on the lake. Just a few minutes from downtown Chimney Rock & Lake Lure, you’ll be in the “center” of all the fun activities awaiting you.

Planning our stay at the property was easy and seamless. Communication was prompt and courteous.

From the moment we opened the front door our visit could not have been more perfect. The home is beautifully sited on the lake and appointed with everything one needs. Believe the pictures. It is just that lovely. The house was absolutely spotless and gorgeously maintained.

We never ate a meal out as we stopped for groceries along the way and cooked out each evening. The upper balcony provides a wonderful lakeview dining experience with both a table for two, and a larger table for comfortable mealtime seating. Coffee outside as the sun is coming up is not to be missed. Likewise, a glass of wine while watching the day wind down on the lake is a must do.

Swimming and boating were great and we enjoyed relaxing and just being lazy. We would definitely return.

Treat yourself to a couples getaway with your friends, or a family chance to catch up. It's quiet, cozy, welcoming, and comfortable. Tons of books and games and space enough to enjoy conversation upstairs while the tv is on downstairs. There's not a bad view anywhere in this house.

This is my third Homeaway Rental and I have been absolutely impressed each time. Thank you for making Buck's Hideaway available. It was a pleasure to spend time in such a beautiful environment!
