A beautiful Pent House Condo located on the Potomac River, that includes two (2) large master suite bedrooms with private baths and large closet space. Entry into the condo begins with a great room with 10' foot ceilings and windows to provide a light filled living space. The kitchen includes a granite family style 8' oval island and high end finishes and appliances that is fully equipped with coffee maker, toaster, mixer, blender,microwave, and pots, pans, china, crystal and more.... The bedrooms are complete with linens for a weeks stay along with bathroom linens and accessories equivalent to a high-end luxury hotel! The unit also includes one underground parking space!!! The buildings' amenities include an exercise room and rooftop pool and patio with gas grill! Pool and Patio overlook the River and Bridges towards Washington DC. Conveniently located near major expressways and metro stations, this area is the best place to stay when visiting the Washington DC and surrounding areas

Features of the Resort and Vicinity: The National Harbor is a brand new resort community located within 15 minutes of downtown Washington DC by car, or within minutes to metro stations. There are also water taxis available from the pier at National Harbor to Old Town Alexandria and to Ronald Reagan National Airport and The Nationals Stadium (Coming Soon)! The area is a high end property that includes restaurants such as Rosa Mexicana, McCormick & Schmicks, Graces Mandarin, Ketchup, Public House!! Coming soon is Bond 47 and The Red Eye Grill, both famous restaurants from New York City! There are several bars including Cadillac Ranch, Bobby Keys Dueling Piano Bar, and six (6) additional restaurants located at the Gaylord Resort which is only steps away from the property! Childrens Museum has storefront for kids until the grand opening in the future. Also a small beach area is convenient for the kids as a play space including the Awakening Statue! Segway Tours and Walking along the Piers are steps away!!!

Washington DC & Surrounding Areas: Washington DC and its Splendor are within 15 minutes away by car or can be accessed by metro stations nearby! The museums at the Smithsonian, the Monuments, Botanical Gardens and The White House are great destinations while staying at The National Harbor and all are free to the public!! Of course there are 4 & 5 Star restaurants located in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia, including Alexandria which can be accessed by Water Taxi directly from the piers at The National Harbor. Annapolis, Baltimore, and even Ocean City, MD, Eastern Shore and West Virginia are not too far for a day trip with the family!! Six Flags and the Water Park are within 15 minutes away and movie theaters including IMAX are within 15-20 minutes away!!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cathy's condo. It is beautifully decorated, thoroughly and expertly equipped, and a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of DC. We found the commute (both driving directly into DC in the late afternoons and early evenings and driving to and from the King Street Metro in Alexandria-parked at Embassy Suites for $12 a day -during rush hours) to be easy and convenient. The ability to return home to the condo. to relax, swim in the rooftop pool, cook our own gourmet dinners (we found Trader Joe's in Alexandria to be a great place to stock up on groceries, beer, and wine), and then enjoy the outdoor family movies, concerts, and outdoor space in the early evening at National Harbor made for a very cost effective vacation versus a downtown DC hotel with daily lodging tax, daily parking costs, and all restaurant meals. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. We hope to return here ourselves, as well. Cathy is a wonderful host who made us all feel special and welcome.

The condo is located close enough to Washington DC (& other attractions) that allow access whithin a half hour, but National Harbor area is like a private community, very little thru traffic...and enough restaurants/shops/events (movies, concerts) that you can be satisfied with just a relaxing stay in the spacious condo/building..
Building is very quiet, condo offers numerous amenities and is well maintained. Pool area was normally not too crowded. Weekdays in the inner harbor are uneventful & relaxing.
This is definetely a location I would recommend to anyone!!!
