Our renovated stone house is an old village house, typical of the south. The visible old beams, doors and the open fireplace give the house its charm. The spacious house has a small inner courtyard and a sunny rooftop terrace with a view of the rooftops.

Gourmet-Urlaub mit Familie

Das Haus bietet viel Platz, eine gut ausgestattete Küche, einen schönen Innenhof und eine nette Dachterrasse. Das Dorf Salle veranstaltete an jedem Wochenende ein Konzert auf dem Marktplatz, bei dem wir uns auch als Nicht-Einheimische wohl fühlten.
Mit Begeisterung besuchten wir fast täglich die Hallen von Narbonne, wo man von Jakobsmuscheln über verschiedene Sorten Austern, natürlich alle Arten Fisch und Meeresfrüchte, sonnengereiften Gemüse und Obst bis zu Perlhuhn und Saucisse seche alles bekommt, was Herz und Bauch erfreut. Da die Küche groß genug ist, konnten wir all diese Leckereien dann gemeinsam zubereiten und - zusammen mit sehr gutem und preiswerten Wein vom Winzer - im schattigen Innenhof genießen.
Die Abwicklung der Vermietung verlief unkompliziert, freundlich und korrekt.
Das Meer allerdings war in diesem Juni/Juli noch etwas kalt.
(P.S. Übrigens hat keiner von uns zugenommen!)
