This spacious, well-kept and subtly renovated apartment is located in a brownstone house, approximately 100 meters from the park. The turn of the century house has been left in its old style, e.g. parquet flooring and much more. There are two additional apartments on the ground floor or on the second floor.

So macht New York richtig viel Spass

Kann mich auch nur den Vorgängern anschließen. Von An- bis Abreise verlief alles problemlos. Der Empfang ist sehr nett und sehr hilfreich mit Tipps zur Umgebung. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Die absolut bessere Wahl im Vergleich zu kleinen Hotelzimmern und teurem Hotel-Frühstück im Manhattan.
Unbedingt auch den Prospect Park und die nahegelgenen, für die USA sehr seltenen, Einkaufsstrassen erkunden. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Appartement zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben uns in dem recht großen Appartment (C5) sehr wohl gefühlt. Wirklich sehr ruhige Lage, gute Küchenausstattung, schönes & sauberes Bad. Wohnung insgesamt gepflegt und ordentlich. Wohn/Eßbereich und Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage. Großes Plus der Supermarkt gegenüber. Super netter Vermieter und Assistentin vor Ort. Alles hat bestens und ohne Probleme geklappt.

Mit einer Ferienwohnung lässt sich das Leben in New York hautnah miterleben. Wir finden das besser als jedes Luxushotel und werden bestimmt wieder kommen :-)

Hier wohnt man gerne im Urlaub

Schöne FW, sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung mit der Metro nach Manhatten und auch zum JFK. Freundlicher Vermieter der sein Büro auch hier hat. Super auch der naheliegende Supermarkt für schnelle Einkäufe, wenn es auch mal später geworden ist, oder morgens um fehlende Kleinigkeiten fürs Frühstück zu besorgen. Alle Zimmer top und sehr gut eingeteilt. Bei Anreise mit 4 Erwachsenen sollte man bedenken, dass im Wohnzimmer (Durchgangszimmer) 2 Personen schlafen müssen. Idealer für 2 Personen bzw. mit noch 2 weiteren Kindern, dann auch auf jeden Fall für längere Aufenthalte zu empfehlen. Nähere Umgebung der FW top. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

man muss nicht in manhattan wohnen

gemütliche kleine wohnung in einer tollen umgebung (D6 im dritten stock). freundliche begrüßung durch den vermieter, die kleine kühlschrankerstausstattung ist eine sehr liebe willkommensgeste. alles hat super und unkompliziert geklappt. wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefüllt. schade eigentlich, dass man fast nur zum schlafen da ist und nicht auch mal einfach wohnt!
klitzekleiner haken für schlafende breitmacher: das bett ist recht schmal, dafür aber hoch:-)

Optimal für eine Familie

Wir waren über Sylvester 2008 für eine Woche dort als Familie mit drei Kindern (14,13 und 11 Jahre alt) in der Wohnung Nr.1. Im zweiten Zimmer standen schon drei komplette Einzelbetten. Ausstattung und Lage waren für New Yorker Verhältnisse und den Preis einfach optimal. Der Keyfood gegenüber liegt einfach super und zur U-Bahn ist es auch nicht weit. In 25 Minuten ist man mit der Subway mitten in Manhatten. Die Gegend ist sicher. Es war alles völlig problemlos.

TIPP: Vom und zum Flughafen zu Fünft am besten kein Taxi nehmen, sondern einen Limousinenservice, das ist u.U. günstiger.
