Upper East Side holiday apartment

My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in September 2009. On my part there was some trouble making payment but the owner/property manager went, in my opinion, above and beyond to make everything happen smoothly in the end. The property itself was exactly what I expected based on the pictures up on the Home Away web site. It is in a great location for what we we had planned. Right near Central Park, in a good neighbourhood, very little street noise and a very short bus ride to anywhere in NYC. We even managed to get out to New Jersey for a concert without to much trouble. I wouldn't recomend the appartment to you if you need all the expensive things to keep you happy, There was very good wireless internet and the appartment itself was clean and well maintained.
While we were there we went down to Little Italy and China town for dinner and we just had breakfast and lunch at which ever place caught our eye while we were walking around the city. We had dinner at a reseraunt called Grotta Azzurra in Little Italy and we both agreed it was the best Italian food we'd had in a very long time, Great wine selection and fantastic atmosphere - we didn't make a reservation.

Would recomend this City and property to my friends without hesitation.
