Located on Grand Traverse Bay, Le Petit Maison (the little house) is a charming year round home with 85' feet frontage on the bay. The lot is quite long (200') with lots of room to play on the grass (we can get out our crochet or badmitton set for you) or just to lounge around in the lawn/beach chairs or large wooden swing. A child can enjoy the swing hanging from a tall tree. Our canoe is available (no charge) to carry down to the water. Patio table & chairs, lots of flower, shade and sun, grill. Quiet area, neighbors not too close with woods in between. We have owned LPM since 1972 and rented to guests weekly in the 1990s. We also rented year around for several years (annual lease). It recently become vacant and we have decided to rent it by the week for this summer season.

Notes: Le Petit Maison is a small house/cottage with one bedroom, large living room, kitchen and full bathroom. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen and plenty of counter top work area, 4 burner electric stove/oven, full size refrigerator with freezer, large new sink with new pull out faucet. It is equipped well with pots, pans, and very nice dish wares. My mom has always picked out nice quality furnishings and the sofa-bed in living room is surprisingly comfy. The bathroom was beautifully tiled a few years ago. Blankets, good pillows, and quilts provided. Please bring own linens and towels.

Cute & Cozy!: Le Petit Maison returns to the rental market this June after 5 years owner occupied. It is incredibly cute and cozy. The kitchen was redecorated in 2008 in white, red & yellow. Large picture window with gorgeous view of Grand Traverse Bay opens for fresh breezes. You can see the sunrise and enjoy morning sun. Afternoon sun fills the kitchen. Small private beach with fire pit (you have to walk through several feet of rocky/grassy area to get to the water because water levels are low). Bayshore Road has houses along it but is not built up - still lots of woods and semi-rural feel. Neighbors are few and quiet. LPM is about 1/2 mile from downtown Northport so easy to walk to everything including large public beach with playground, scrumptuous bakery, grocery store, post office, bank/ATM, library with free WiFi, art galleries, shops, restaurants.

Water & Boating: You can carry your own kayak or carry OUR canoe to the water and enjoy Grand Traverse Bay up close! There are two boat launch sites very close by. We have one family (2 adults, 2 kids) who have rented every summer for more than 10 years that bring their own power boat, spend the day on the water and then sleep in comfort at night.
