Plover's Nest is on Saint Peters Lake. You can paddle across lake to miles of unspoiled sand dunes and white sand beaches or drive 5 minutes to the beach. It is 5 minutes to the famous Links at Crowbush Cove Golf Course and Lakeside beach; 5 minutes to the town of Morell which has groceries, restaurants, post office, tourism office, and other necessities; and 30 minutes from Charlottetown airport. There is fishing and bird watching on the lake with a boat ramp for your canoe, kayak or small fishing boat. Or use our canoe or kayak. Two minutes to hiking or biking on the Confederation Trail. You can bike to everything you need. The common room is large enough for the family to play chess, cards, and jigsaw puzzles all at the same time. There are beautiful views of the lake, dunes, and beach. See the waves before leaving the house. Fall asleep on the deck or play croquet or Frisbee in the large yard. Pick blueberries for breakfast.

PEI is called 'The Garden of the Gulf.' It is famous for lobster, mussels, golf, strawberries, blueberries, lupins, and as the setting for all of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables books. What makes PEI unique of the Canadian Maritime Provinces is that an arm of the gulf stream swings back into the North Shore of PEI and warms the water. The water on the beaches near the house is usually in the 70s and is generally within 5 degrees of the Delaware beaches, although many people insist it is as warm as North Carolina beaches. The air is clean, and the province is many shades of green. The North Shore has white sand dunes and beaches.

3-Season House: Spring: Golf, Fishing, Biking. St. Peters Lake has good trout fishing in the Spring. The Island has many golf courses. Summer: Golf, Biking, Beaches, Canoeing, Lake or Ocean Kayaking, Blueberry picking. Swim in warm water beaches. You can bike to the grocery store and to all parts of the Island. Fall: Bike, Hike, Golf, Canoe. Hike or bike through beautiful autumnal foliage. Walk deserted beaches.

Bigger than a Cottage: The House has three large bedrooms, a very large bathroom, and very large common room with kitchen and island to accommodate a large group. The House is in a small community of 5 cottages .
