    A Rental Deposit is required at time of reservation to hold the Rental Period. The reservation will not be considered final until the Rental Deposit has cleared the bank (in the case of a personal check). Owners will continue to offer the Rental Period for rent until the reservation is considered final. The Rental Deposit will be applied toward the Rental Fee. The Rental Deposit is not a security deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT, along with the Security Deposit and Housekeeping Fee is due thirty (30) days before your check-in date.

    We strongly recommend use of PayPal to place rental deposits to insure immediate locking of a desired time period.
    A $200 security deposit is required in addition to the rental fee. This security deposit will be refunded within 72 hours of check-out assuming all terms of the rental agreement are met. There is also a mandatory $75 housekeeping

Great vacation headquarters

We used the cottage as a jump off point to go to the ocean beaches, go sailing, and to explore the local sites. If we had down time, we could relax on the beach just outside the back door! We cooked out, had a fire on the beach, took long walks, and caught up on a few books. The cottage had many amenities...including two bicycles! The weather was very hot, and the cottage was very well air conditioned to get out of the heat. The decor was tastefully beach oriented, so if you are looking for a new condo...this shouldn't be your choice.

The only thing I would change, if possible, is the addition of a small washer/dryer unit and/or a small dishwasher. The lack of these didn't deter from the enjoyment of our vacation! Thanks, Nora!

Fantastic Time had By All!

Thanks so much for such a wonderful time at the Cottage by the Sea. It was a wonderful bonding time for our busy family. Our boys got along great and spent hours catching sand sharks. This is a great place for young and old-My Mom age 82 said it was her best vacation ever.Thanks for great customer service even down to the bug spray and sun screen.
We are ready to reserve for next year and hopefully we will be able to take 2 weeks. We never felt better -refreshed and renewed,it was such meaningful family time...It was also great to have our family dog with us-saved us big bucks not having to kennel her-I can still see the beautiful sunsets
