Completely renovated and transformed at the end of 2007, this uncommonly stylish and modern beach house is amazingly private, with stunning panoramic and distant southwesterly views of Long Island Sound and the coast. Surrounded by protected sand dunes, the 100-year-old house features unimpeded views of the long sandy beach and high bluffs. Secluded at the end of an unpaved road, in a laid back and friendly private beach community in Peconic on the North Fork of Long Island, the cottage is perfect for swimming in the Sound, long walks on the beach, and dining on the large deck overlooking nothing but water, beach and the gentle curve of the coast. Sunsets are spectacular. Inside the house features contemporary and mid-century modern furnishings, large picture windows, new hardwood floors, original art, and high ceilings.

We needed a truly relaxing vacation and that is exactly what this house provided. It's gorgeously decorated and at the same time totally comfortable (with a ton of extras and amenities), and is quiet and peaceful without being a million miles away from everything. We loved the semi-private beach, the outdoor shower, the well-stocked kitchen, and the entire area. Highly, highly recommended.

Dreamy beach cottage on the heart of North Fork

The house is very mid-century modern chic, clean line furnishings in a great location. It's close to everywhere you'd want to see in North Fork; fantastic foods, wines, shopping, farms, parks and people. Beach is right behind the house, and is very beautiful especially at sunset. The owner Neil couldn't be more helpful and generous. It was a very memorable trip for our family. It is the DREAM house. We hope to come back very soon.

We loved staying at this house - quiet location on deserted beach with very friendly neighbours. The owners could not have been more helpful with suggestions for local activities and restaurants and just for ease organising our rental. The house itself is a mid-century modern dream and decorated with impeccable taste. We will definitely be back.

This house is as good as the photos! Enjoy the fantastic views and sunsets from your deck and walk 100 feet to a deserted beach. Perfectly appointed and maintained, this house is a dream.
