Isla Bela Beach Resort is a private gated community located on the western coast of Puerto Rico now called Porta del Sol which translates to 'Doorway to the Sun'. To be exact, it is located in the town of Isabela just minutes from the Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN). Porta del Sol, a place where the pace is slower but filled with fun and the warmth of the Puerto Rican culture. For decades Porta del Sol has been a popular vacation spot for the residents of the island offering beaches and attractions away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan areas. It is also well known to surfers from the United States who have been vacationing here since the 1960’s. The majority of the condos are owned as vacation homes and only a few are used as a primary residence.
