Very relaxing home

I spent 5 days at this home with my parents, and very much enjoyed this place. Kelly (the owner) only recently put this place up for rental, so there are not many reviews, but if you look at her other properties, she gets great ratings at all her places. The layout out the home is such that when you walk in the front door all the bedrooms are to the right, down a very short hallway. To the immediate left is the kitchen, and beyond that the laundry area, and beyond that the garage. Going straight ahead is the living room, and looking to the left one can see the dining room, and beyond that the pool room. There are many doors and sliding doors that can be left open for a very open look or closed if you want privacy, some want to sleep while others watch tv, etc.
The property was clean and well maintained. There was a booklet describing various eateries, attractions, rules of the house that were very helpful. The keys we got for the house had a discount card on them for buying groceries at Ralphs. The pool was fun (correction--VERY fun), but to keep peace with the neighbors people can't use the pool after 9pm. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, almost a cul-de-sac.
The policy says that on the last day people need to leave by 10:30am, but we worked it out with her so we could leave at 2pm. Also when you leave you are expected to have the kitchen items (ie. glasses, plates) put away or in the dishwasher, and also to wash and dry the used bath towels. Oh, I never asked, but I couldn't find a phone anywhere. We had cell phones, and didn't notice until the last day, and so I didn't have a chance to ask the owner about it. Also, our computer didn't have the ability to get Wi-fi, but you can connect an internet cable to the Wi-fi and get the Internet.
Let's see, anything else? Yes. I would recommend this to friends and family, and I also hope to rent this place again sometime, only for a longer time, such as 10-14 days.

Thank you for offering up a layout of the house. I believe you may have done a better job than I did in my description. You are right, we don not have a phone at the house as most of the guest use their cell phones. We do offer the use of a personal cell phone to our international guests or others who require it. We also ask that guests do not use the pool after 9:00 pm as the house is in a nice and quiet residental neighborhood. We want to be respectful to our wonderful neighbors. I'm so glad we were able to get you booked into this house and that you enjoyed it so much. You and your family were fantastic guests and we would love to have you stay with us again.
