Casa Sarah and Casa Letizia, a semi-detached house, is situated in a quiet area on a closed-in garden property of 900 m². The distance to the beach is 200 m and to the harbour it is 800 m. You reach the property with its palm trees, acacias, fruit trees and cactus figs via a short private driveway that ends on the property. The house includes a parking space, an outdoor shower and a barbecue area. The two floors are connected with a spiral staircase. In the vicinity (100 m) there are many possibilities to shop, but you will also find restaurants, pizzeria, bistro, bar, bakery and fish shops. Sardinia definitely offers the best in many ways: the sea is the cleanest und most beautiful of all easily accessible seas in Europe. The vast countryside is intact and surprisingly fascinating. The environment has hardly been disturbed by human intervention.

The flat is suitable for up to 4 people.

The seaport Castelsardo in the Gulf of Asinara is well known for its Old Town which is situated on a cliff. The Old Town is surrounded by a city wall with a Castle built by the Doria Family from Genoa. In the small alleys of the town which dates back to the middle ages, you have the opportunity to browse through the Arts and Craft shops and buy traditional souvenirs. You can also visit the town museum. Castelsardos geographical location is ideal for day trips. Porto Torres is 30 km away. You can take the ferry from here to the Asinara Nature Reserve. 60 km from Castelsardo you will find Sintino with its picturesque beach: La Spiaggia della Pelose. And Alghero is around 70 km away, where you can visit the famous Neptune Caves. The Costa Smeralda with its beautiful bays and beaches, as well as its exclusive bars and restaurants are a one-hour car-drive away.

A trully wonderful holiday

We have just returned from a 10 night stay in Casa Letizia and myself and my family can highly recommend both the Casa and the area. The property was lovely; clean, well maintained and in a good location. There are several pizzerias in Lu Bagnu although we regularly ate out in Castelardo (mainly as there has been lots of free entertainment at the main Piazza in the evening including some good local musicians). There is also a host of beaches within a 15 min drive - the nearest within walking distance. We would definately recommend this property; our only criticism would be it would have been useful to have an iron, mop and a few more cleaning products (I am being a little picky!).
* The spiral staircase would be difficult for anyone with mobility difficulties or very young children*

Casa Sarah sehr zu empfehlen

Wir waren im Sommer 2006 und auch im Juni 2008 jeweils rund 10 Tage im Casa Sarah. Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes Haus an optimaler und ruhiger Lage in der Nähe von Castelsardo. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Sitzplatz ist auf den Garten hinaus ausgerichtet und man ist dort schön für sich allein. Der obere Stock ist über eine Wendeltreppe zu erreichen. Oben befinden sich die drei Schlafzimmer. Auch vom Eltern-Schlafzimmer aus hat man einen schönen grossen Balkon. Das Meer ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Auch ein Einkaufsladen und ein Restaurant ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Meine Familie würde jederzeit wieder in dieses Ferienhaus gehen.
Auch mit der Reservation, der Zusendung des Mietvertrages, der Anzahlung, der Bestätigung, etc. hat alles prima geklappt. So macht man gerne Urlaub.

Es war bis auf die Lage alles so wie beschrieben. Allerdings war nicht klar, das Casa Letizia die Terrasse zum Parkplatz hatte und nicht in den Garten. Das war etwas entäuschend. Ansonsten eine gute Unterkunft mit Standardausstattung. Durch die enge Wendeltreppe in das obere Geschoß, wo die Schlafzimmer und das Bad liegen, eher nicht für ältere Menschen geeignet.Wir würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
