Spacious rooms, white wicker chairs on a gracious wrap-around porch, a fire pit on the beach, 200+ feet of private beachfront, horseshoe pits, acres of lawn and beautiful flower gardens - all yours to enjoy for the week. Take in a play at the restored Opera House, visit historic sites, take the ferries to historic Mackinac Island (16 miles) or secluded Bois Blanc Island (2 miles), sail the Straits of Mackinac, cruise the 30-mile-long Inland waterway, bike the new Cheboygan to Mackinaw or Gaylord trails. Or watch the sunset from your own beach, read a book on the front porch, throw rocks in the water, gather driftwood, build a bonfire, watch the stars come out. This will be a truly unique experience, one you'll want to enjoy over and over again.

Lovely, clean, roomy, historic home with nice updates. My husband and I really enjoyed our time there. It sits on a huge lot, with pretty landscaping and a lawn that leads down to the water. We used the firepit one night to roast marshmallows and make S'mores. They have several nice porch areas for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors, and lots of games and music and plenty to do without even having to leave the house. And yet, the house is only about 20 minutes from Mackinaw City where you can catch the ferry to Mackinac Island or the bridge to the upper peninsula, both of which are beautiful places! The house has Wi-Fi, which was important for us as my husband needed to work part of the time we were there. The owners are great and very responsive. We would highly recommend this property!!
Owner's Response: We love it when our guests enjoy our vacation home as much as we do. It's such a beautiful old house and we love sharing it.
