Our house is located about 300m from the beach. Your apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with a balcony. The living room has a large patio. The apartment is very well equipped, including satellite TV and pool. Bikes are included in the rental price. A compressor is also available for divers,along with 3 diving sets.

Large apartment with two separate bedrooms, living room, dining room with kitchen, large sunny patio for breakfast and an extra balcony in front of every bedroom. Very good furnishing with carpets, leather furniture, air conditioning. All things needed for daily life are available, from a thimble to a corkscrew. BBQ area outside. Excursion options are offered for land and water.

Ammoudia, a small fishing village on the delta of the Acheron river, has not yet been taken over by mass tourism. Crystal-clear water characterizes our crescent shaped bay. The shore is shallow, there are no rocks or sea urchins in the bay. It is also ideal for water sports on and under water. Those who are looking for 'pure' Greece are perfect here!

Arrival options: With an airplane to Corfu, then with the ferry (about 60 minutes) to Igoumenitsa where we can meet you at the harbor or with an airplane to Preveza where we will meet you directly at the airport or with a car to Triest, Venice, Ancona or Bari, then with the ferry to Igoumenitsa, then it is only 50 km to Ammoudia.

Sports and hiking: During the spring and fall, hikes in the flatland and in the nearby mountains are conducted, maybe with overnight stays in lodges. Starting May, we take our boat to the Arabian Gulf where dolphins are guaranteed to be encountered. Directly in front of the house you will find a volleyball court (sand) that is only used by the house guests. Bike tours are also on the program. Water sports: diving with own boat, compressor available. Water skiing and sailing (jolle 420) skipper training with the yacht Vichor, 33 feet, motor yacht for 'island shopping'. 6 sleeping spaces, 35 feet. Pool party with live music upon request and a lot more.

Beach and river: Ammoudia is a small fishing village on the delta of the Acheron river. On the shore of the river, you will find small taverns where you can enjoy Greek and international kitchen. The fine beach invites you to go swimming, because the sea here is hardly saline and crystal clear because of the backwater of the river - not only the children will enjoy this.

Wir haben diesen Griechenland Urlaub sehr genossen. Eine schöne Ferienwohnug, sehr nette Vermieter, und ein wundervoller Strand. Wir waren glücklich ein Auto zu haben, damit konnten wir super Strände erkunden. Die Kinder haben das Pool sehr genossen. Ein rundum sehr erholsamer Urlaub!!

Wunderschöner individueller Urlaub

Wir verlebten wunderschöne 2 Wochen in Griechenland, die dank der Gastgeber nicht abwechslungsreicher hätten gestaltet werden können. Es ist ein tolles Haus mit einer Wohnung, die keine Wünsche offen läßt. Terasse, Balkone, deutsches Fernsehen, Küche, 2 Schlafräume, Pool........alles ist vorhanden. Unsere Tochter, 7 Jahre, war so traurig bei der Abreise, wie wir es selten erlebt haben. Uwe und Lena bieten ein sensationelles Programm, wenn gewünscht. Bootstouren in unvorstellbar schöne Buchten, um die Insel Paxos, Tauchgänge, es gibt nichts, was nicht möglich ist. Selbst Delfine haben wir aufgesucht. Die Umgebung ist einzigartig, was sowohl die Strände wie auch die Buchten, das Gebirge und niedliche Orte betrifft. Wir haben tolle Restaurants kennen- und schätzengelernt, wo Urlauber normal niemals hinkommen. Griechenland pur eben.
Unser Fazit ist, das wir spätestens in 2 Jahren wieder da sind. Einmal da und dann immer wieder.

Wir haben einen unserer schönsten Urlaube in der Villa Aspri verbracht, kein Cluburlaub kann spannender und abwechslungsreicher, dank Lena und Uwe sein ! Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt,die beiden großen Appartements sehr geräumig und großzügig ausgestattet. Es ist dort alles so wunderbar unkompliziert und familiär, unsere beiden Söhne (5 u.10 ) wollten gar nicht mehr nach Hause und bei der Heimreise sind viele Tränen geflossen. Die Hausherren kümmern sich rührend um ihre Gäste und den Kids wurde Abenteuer pur geboten. Jeden Abend in einer
anderen Taverne oder gar mit Uwe´s Boot zum Abendessen, wir haben Dank den beiden viele tolle Menschen und den Epirus lieben gelernt, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und auch Freunde von uns waren schon dort welche auch begeistert waren !

Wenn Griechenland, dann nur hier!

Wer einmal hier im Urlaub war kommt immer wieder. Ammoudia liegt abseits vom Massentourismus wodurch man Griechenland noch ursprünglich erleben kann. Der Strand nicht überlaufen, das Wasser klar, die Restaurants und Kneipern einladend, die Wirte freundlich. Direkt neben der Bucht mündet der Acheron, dessen Süßwasser den Salzgehalt im Meerwasser der Bucht senkt.
Bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt in der Aspri Villa hat uns gleich die familiäre Aufnahme dort gefallen. Die Besitzer kümmern sich, wenn man es will, rührend um einen und waren uns schon nach wenigen Tagen gute Freunde geworden. Das Motto vom Besitzer lautet: "Alles geht, nichts muss!" Entsprechend waren wir genauso mit der hauseigenen Yacht unterwegs, als auch mit dem Schnellboot und abends zum Essen mit dem hauseigenen VW-Bus weit oben in den Bergen - ein zweifellos einmaliges Erlebnis.
Zum Haus selbst ist zu sagen, dass es, anders als die meisten Unterkünfte in Griechenland, dem deutschen Standard 100%ig gerecht wird. Alles was man zum Leben braucht ist da wo es hingehört. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich und selbst der am Haus vorhandene Pool wird permanent gereinigt und kontrolliert. Abends wird dann oft noch zusammengesessen und bei griechischem Wein und Gesang das eine oder andere Stück Fleisch auf den hauseigenen Grill gelegt.
Wir waren immer mit zwei Familien in der Aspri Villa und unsere vier Kinder (10 - 19 Jahre) waren nahezu rund um die Uhr mit Pool, Meer, Essen, Trinken und spätabends dann noch mit abtanzen in der Diskothek beschäftigt. Da die Aspri Villa am Ortsrand liegt, stören keine nervigen Geräusche den erholsamen Schlaf. Tagsüber kann man sich in der umliegenden Gegend mit Joggen, Spaziergängen oder Volleyball fit halten. Wer mobil in Ammoudia unterwegs ist, hat die Möglichkeit im Umkreis von ca. 50 km zahllose Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden, von der Acheronquelle über Ausgrabungen bis zu diversen Inseln rund um die Bucht.
Für uns steht jedenfalls heute schon fest, wir waren nicht das letzte Mal bei Uwe und Eleni in der Aspri Villa!

Wir waren schon mehrfach bei Uwe und Lena.
Beide kümmern sich sehr liebevoll um Ihre Gäste.
Wir werden in diesem Jahr wieder runterfahren.Es ist immer ein gutes Gefühl von der Strasse in den Ort zu schauen das Haus zu sehen und sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen.
