Arrival options:
With an airplane to Corfu, then with the ferry (about 60 minutes) to Igoumenitsa where we can meet you at the harbor or with an airplane to Preveza where we will meet you directly at the airport or with a car to Triest, Venice, Ancona or Bari, then with the ferry to Igoumenitsa, then it is only 50 km to Ammoudia.
Sports and hiking:
During the spring and fall, hikes in the flatland and in the nearby mountains are conducted, maybe with overnight stays in lodges. Starting May, we take our boat to the Arabian Gulf where dolphins are guaranteed to be encountered. Directly in front of the house you will find a volleyball court (sand) that is only used by the house guests. Bike tours are also on the program. Water sports: diving with own boat, compressor available. Water skiing and sailing (jolle 420) skipper training with the yacht Vichor, 33 feet, motor yacht for 'island shopping'. 6 sleeping spaces, 35 feet. Pool party with live music upon request and a lot more.
Beach and river:
Ammoudia is a small fishing village on the delta of the Acheron river. On the shore of the river, you will find small taverns where you can enjoy Greek and international kitchen. The fine beach invites you to go swimming, because the sea here is hardly saline and crystal clear because of the backwater of the river - not only the children will enjoy this.
