For starters the pictures tell the story - well almost. Actually our guests say the pictures fall short of showing off this charming storybook setting. Imagine a quaint Stone Cottage surrounded by huge pines, tucked away next to a stream with a stone bridge - well this is that place and more. Add to that, a secluded Hot Tub across a stone bridge, surrounded by a stone wall on one side and the mountain stream on the other. Throw in a real fireplace, Wi-Fi, and a nearby Fire Pit next to the stream. There's even an adorable little stone outbuilding with a sleeping loft up a spiral staircase. What a perfect place for the kids. If you're looking for a unique memorable experience in an unbelievable setting this is it. We'd love to have you as our guest. Location, location, location - 5 Minute Walk to the Sundance Resort. The pictures say it all. This is an unbelievable stone cottage, built right on the stream. The Hot Tub is tucked away, surrounded by a stone wall on one side and the stream on the other. It doesn't get any more romantic. This cottage is located on a private lane, secluded from any traffic or noise - other than natures soundtrack - - the delightful sound of the stream. You've got to see this place to believe it. Please give us a call. You won't be sorry.

THE 'BIRDHOUSE' : Across the stone bridge is a small two story outbuilding we affectionately call 'The Birdhouse'. The second level is accessed by a spiral staircase and includes a full size bed with an outside balcony directly over the mountain stream.

OUTDOOR DINING: The main deck features an outdoor tall table and chairs (all teak) next to the stream. A truly great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a little wine and cheese as the evening closes in. The deck and surrounding area is beautifully equipped with subtle outdoor lighting.

NEARBY FIREPIT: Right next door - - and right on the stream, is a FIrepit. Who doesn't enjoy building a campfire and roasting a hot dog or two - - or maybe a delicious treat and a Utah favorite - S'Mores.

A very Charming Cottage

We almost want to keep this wonderful place our secret, but We have to say it is a really special cottage, All the charm of any storybook, But better. From the time we arrived to our departure they made us feel very comfortable. We had a very, very enjoyable stay. Sundance is such a beautiful area and a place anyone would enjoy. We hope to return soon.

My fiance and I recently spent three nights at this wonderful cottage. We wished then, and continue to wish today, that it could have been three decades (at least).

Though my words, like any pictures, will not do justice to a simply magical place, I feel compelled to at least try. For everything about this storybook cottage is spectacular, from its awe inspiring physical setting to the top of the line appliances that grace its kitchen. Indeed, the cottage possesses an almost ethereal quality about it, an uncanny ability to make one feel fully relaxed, ensconced in comfort, and completely at home.

Spotlessly clean, meticulously detailed, and infinitely inviting, we both pouted like children when we had to leave. Apparently, we're not the only ones to have had this reaction. In fact, the folks that occupied the cottage before us left family photos about, apparently in an effort to co-opt the place for themselves. Oh, were it only that easy. Oh, if only I could have had that brilliant, and deeply understood, idea.

Adoptive efforts aside, the cottage remains under the loving care of Brad and Vicki, and two nicer people do not exist on this planet. We were fortunate enough to spend a little time with these fine people, and we consider ourselves far richer for having made the acquaintance of two new friends.

It's just not like me to gush about a place so effusively; as I'm anything but the easiest guy to impress. Still, of all the places I have ever stayed, I can honestly, and without any hesitation, state that this storybook cottage is hands down the finest. I cannot recommend any place, or anything, more highly.

We will be back; and, next time, I'm bringing our family photos. Bigger ones.
