Photos and Description of this Berkeley holiday cottage 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom-we sleep maximum 4 adults and 2 children

This area is called South Berkeley. This is a NON SMOKING rental. A cozy spot to hang your hat in fun & funky Berkeley, California! The cottage is an 865SF single family home originally built in 1924, and we have tried to maintain its original charm while allowing for modern conveniences. There are 2 bedrooms-master has queen bed, walk in closet & wood burning fireplace, TV & DVD player, the back bedroom has a full size bed, dresser & night stand. The living room is cozy with a cozy sofa for TV watching. On the back of the house is a deck with sun chairs, new propane BBQ and shaded seating area in the yard. The cottage is very clean and we provide all linens, towels, pots, pans, utensils, toilet paper, even a hair dryer! We are family friendly and well suited for elderly folks as we only have 3 small stairs to get into the house.

Our bungalow is located in a primarily residential area. There is not much to walk to from here and we recommend having a rental car to get you around. The bungalow does have a private driveway that can fit 2 small vehicles or 1 large and there is always plenty of parking on the street; The area is not congested. Update: we are about 12 blocks from the brand new Berkeley Bowl-a phenomenon and local shopping experience that you must have. Forget about Safeway's bland generic items & Whole Foods overpriced organics-Berkeley Bowl is exotic & affordable with something for everyone and oh so close to our little cottage-10 blocks.

There is a propane BBQ on the back deck for cook outs, a TV in the living room & in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, oversized lounge chair, wood burning fire place, TV w/cable & walk in closet. The second bedroom has a full size bed, dresser, night stand and a large window that overlooks the deck and gets lots of sun.
