The beautiful vacation apartment with large balcony and view of the massive mountains offers a comfortably furnished living room, a small and completely furnished kitchen, a roomy bathroom and 2 bedrooms. There is a large field, a playground and a large parking area around the vacation property. The house stands alone, high above in an unspoiled location. In the house you will find a public indoor pool and a small sauna. Furthermore, there is a massage practice, along with medical baths. The guests are taken care of by the tourist office that is located in the close vicinity. Not only good recreational and entertainment programs are offered here, but rather also professional advice. Wonderful excursions, superb hikes and a comprehensive recreational program are offered here.

Notes to the rental rates

• During the low season (all months other than July, August and the Christmas season) all prices are according to the number of people. A booking for 2 people costs 34 € for the apartment. Every other person is charged with 8 € - the highest price is 43 Euro. Upon departure, a cleaning fee of 28 Euro will be charged. The processing fee for the rental contract is 15 Euro. Visitor's tax: 1.40 € per adult/ day - 0.90 € per child/day (8-14). By paying the visitor's tax, you can take the buses and trains within the Black Forest for free. There are no additional costs. From 22.09.07 to 15.12.07/06.01.08 - 24.05.08/20.09.08 - 20.12.08, the special offers for a 14 day stay for the price of 10 is valid, also the 7 day stay for the price of 6. After 14 days, every third day is free. During this time, entrance to the indoor pool is also free. Children under 3 stay totally free. (indoor pool is closed from 31.03.08-14.04.08).
  
• Linen and towels can be brought from home, but can also be rented. The rental price for linen is 6 € per bed and change and for towels it is 3 € per person and change..
  
• You can arrive on any day other than Sundays and holidays. You can get the keys between 2 pm and 5:30 pm at the tourist office in the city center. Wutachschlucht

The vacation property is located about 4 km away from the famous Wutachschlucht hiking area. The over-powering primordial landscape, with its romantic, gorges and ethnic forests is a treasured wild river valley, one of the highlights in the upper-Black Forest. This gorge is very interesting from a geological point of view. Worthy of having a look at are the many karst formations, doline creations and fossilizations like ammonites and belemnites. Fauna and flora are unique in this region. Rare orchids (for example lady's slipper) and more than 500 types of butterflies and rare birds (for example kingfishers) can be seen here. An unforgettable paradise for every hiker.

Kirnbergsee

4 km in the other direction is a small reservoir - the Kirnbergsee. This lake is good for swimming during the summer and for ice skating during the winter. You can hike around the lake at any time during the year. Wonderful walks are possible along the well-invested hiking trails. Furthermore, biotope was applied in some places spawning zones for fish and retreat areas for waterfowl.

Southern Black Forest Nature Park

The nature park in the southern part of the Black Forest was set up a few years ago. This part of the Black Forest is one of the most interesting regions in Germany with its original cultural landscape, changing of open land and forest areas, beauty, diversity and nature. Unique views from above, deep valleys and gorges, blooming orchards, sunny vineyards, romantic stone formations, gushing waterfalls, clear ponds and cool lakes all invite you to relax and observe. They are an invitation for you to come again and again.

Skiing Information:

Dittishausen is located 850m above sea level. There is a cable lift, 40 m high, 240 m long, well suited for children and beginners. 30 km from Dittishausen is the highest point of elevation in the Black Forest, the Feldberg. At 1493 m, you will find a large number of cabin, chair and cable lifts. Superb descents and well made tracks are found in the Feldberg region. In Dittishausen there are also two runs - 5 and 10 km in length. In nearby Eisenbach, you will find the Panorama-slope - one of the most beautiful runs at a height of 1000 m. You can also ice skate on the Kirnbergsee if the weather is right - 3 km away. There are a lot of amazing places for the little ones to sled at in Dittishausen and the surrounding area.

Golf Information:

We have participated in numerous events here, for example a speck seminar, beer seminar and flea market - fashion show - we had a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed the torch-lit hike through the winter forest and the hike with a hunter on New Years morning. Dittishausen offers absolute tranquility in an amazing surrounding. What makes us come again and again is the cordialness of the people and the friendliness in the shops, taverns and the tourist information center.
