Enjoy your morning coffee while gazing out the expansive living room windows and enjoying Colorado’s spectacular blue sky and warm summer sunshine. Just 30 minutes from Downtown Denver, our relaxing cabin is a tranquil retreat from the traffic and bustle of Denver and I-70. Located just west of Bergen Park on Squaw Pass Road, you will experience breath-taking scenery, see several varieties of birds, deer and elk, and truly live the Rocky Mountains experience. Our cozy, vintage cabin is a perfect place to relax. Build a fire, put your feet up and enjoy a good book or watch a movie from on site library. When you are ready, it is a perfect location to begin exploring Colorado's biking, hiking and snow shoeing trails, downhill ski runs, mountain towns, gambling towns, or the shopping, museums, theaters, and sports venues in the city.

Nearest Train: Denver Amtrak Station at 22 Miles

Our cabin in conveniently located about 10 minutes outside of Evergreen and Bergen Park and about 20 minutes from Denver. Immediately surrounding the cabin is a pine forest but there is a road close by. Evergreen and Bergen park are quaint mountain towns with all the modern conveniences of restaurants, grocery stores, etc plus many shops and services. There is a lake for summer time activities as well as wintertime ice skating. We are located close to several major ski resorts including Loveland, Keystone to name a few. Estes Peak is a short trip up the road as are numerous hiking, biking, and recreation trails.

  • Each room has original knotty pine paneling and a wooden checker board ceiling. There are 2 bedrooms. The one bedroom has a queen bed with down filed comforter and a well stocked book case. Our second bedroom has a full bed and 2 twin beds; the beds have comforters and fluffy feather beds!

Description of our Cabin: Our living room has comfortable chairs and a large wood burning fireplace, firewood provided. In the complete kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare meals except perishables. Our family size refrigerator is stocked with condiments, in the pantry cupboard are oatmeal, spices, flour, sugar, olive oil, coffee and a brownie mix. In true cabin style the stoneware plates and cups have a bear and elk motif, there is a nice selection of glassware, stemware and a martini shaker. The kitchen is complete with a deep 2-tub sink, quality cookware, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, blender, mixer, electric skillet and microwave.
