The 142 square meters chalet, situated in 900 meters height, has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and a visitor's toilet, 1 living/dining room with panoramic windows, and a tiled stove. It also generates warm air for the 2nd floor. The bathroom and all the other rooms are equipped with electric heaters. You have a fantastic view of the Montafon Mountains on the south side from the 100 square meters terrace and the large panoramic windows. You can see the many ski slopes and in summertime the rich meadows with thousands of flowers. This is the ideal surrounding for an unforgettable vacation. An entrance room with a fireplace allows a view over the mountains.

Bartholomäberg-Schruns is the south mountainside above the well known ski village of Schruns. Back in the twenties Ernest Hemmingway used to spend his three-month skiing vacation here. He wrote several pages about it in 'A Movable Feast'. Until today, Schruns is an old-fashioned ski village without concrete in typical Montafon style. You will fall in love with the location.

Notes: A one star restaurant, Berger Hof, is easily reachable by foot in 500 meters distance. More restaurants are in 1 km distance. A small supermarket is reachable within 300 m buy frech eggs from farm nearby, nice bread, air dried beef, newspaper, The village of Schruns with all its facilities is reachable within 6 km via a good mountain road, which is kept snow-free in wintertime.

Ice skating: In Schruns in winter time you find a large indoor Ice skating rink.

Hiking: Directly from the house you can hike roughly 1.5 hours up to Rellseck for a nice brunch or roughly 2 hours up to Christberg, we recommend the Knapperstübli for excellent lamb. There are many mountain huts like Wiesbadener, Heibronner, Tilisuner etc.

Ski: There are great skiresorts also for families, with very different down slope easy and difficult. All have ski schools, ski kinder garden and ski rental. Nearby are large Ski areas: Hochjoch, Golm,Silvretta Nova, Gargellen.
