Nestled in a quiet cul de sac with beautiful views of the mountains and Trout Lake, Mountain Lion is a vintage cabin that feels like home--comfortable beds with 100% cotton sheets, satellite TV with DVD player, fireplace (wood provided), fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms (towels, paper products, cleaners provided), washer and dryer, local telephone, board games and bumper pool, and a deck. Bring the dog! Mountain Lion, located northwest of Luray on the edge of the George Washington National Forest, is perfect for families of all ages or couples looking for a romantic getaway. Shenandoah River Outfitters is less than 1 mile from the cabin, and food and other provisions can be purchased at the Wal-Mart or Food Lion in Luray. Nearby restaurants include the Mimslym Inn (must do the Sunday brunch), Artisan Grill (best hamburgers), Main Street Bakery (stellar coffee and cupcakes), and A Moment to Remember (great sandwiches and Virginia wine selection).
